  • Yesterday… standing in today’s snow… tomorrows will become another memory.
__We are blessed; today, tomorrow, and yesterday.
__So much in this photo and verse. _m

  • Winter here seems to go on. The weather report gives no hope thawing – on the other hand we have in Denmark a day we call “Kyndelmisse” (or Kjørmes Knud) which is the February 2.th – It’s the midway point of winter.

    Weather Warnings
Kyndelmissedag was also a time when you liked to take notice of the weather. Populares “predictions” were notably:

If the wind blows so strong, that 18 bitches can not keep the 19th, the cold will disappear soon.

If it’s thawing, it will be good harvest (Kjørmes thaw is as good as 100 load hay)

If it snows on Kyndelmissedag, spring will come early

If lark heard first time on Kyndelmissedag, spring will be early
