Early starter

This Peacock butterfly has been waken much to early by sunrays, I think it came in with firewood.

I have read some butterflies live only a day, while others live for 365 days…Don’t know about Peacock butterfly,

The butterfly hibernates over winter as adult before laying its eggs in early spring, in batches of up to 500 at a time. They have one year lifespan.

Oh thats too many of them…..don’t you love a lot of butterflies around….more silent and colourful than the birds
