I may wish to join you there, Ashi….But then snowflakes falling like stars…isn’t that a lovely sight…And a mid-winter star rising…that was very Christmasy i thought!
Let me add, I see it all in my mind’s eye — there’s no any snow fall here or stars in the sky — i have been seeing only a tired evening star in the past few days!
It certainly is a pretty sight, they are falling right now outside my window. Midwinter star is Christmas and in our part of the world it’s also “Solhverv” Solstice feast (old nordic hverfa meaning turning) so when the church made 24th. of December the Christ birthday they made easier to persuade people for Christianity
Lovely that was, Ashi…and so true

For my part I look forward to turning point and the prospect of seeing the daylight a little more.

Okay
“so when the church made 24th. of December the Christ birthday” — now, let not some Christians see that!
